The Tiana Bay Series contains paintings of young sailing students in boats that tilt and turn.  Some works depict days that are calm with water that reflects the sky. Sailboats drift slowly out into the bay, while houses become playful onlookers that pattern the far shore.  Other works depict days with wind and whitecaps.  Sailors catch the wind and boats race from shore.
